Mon’Ami Sweets began during my own wedding planning journey. I couldn’t find a baker who captured the taste and vision I wanted, so I started testing recipes myself. That is when everything shifted. What began as a creative challenge turned into a passion I could not ignore.

Baking has always been in my roots. The women in my family taught me that dessert is more than food. It is love, comfort, and legacy. As life brought its own challenges, baking also became my safe space. It is where I heal, where I find peace, and where I pour my heart into something beautiful.

Mon’Ami, French for “my friend,” is my tribute to that love and tradition. Every cake, pie, and pound cake is crafted with intention, premium ingredients, and a clean, design-forward style. Hi, I’m Monique — the hands and heart behind Mon’Ami Sweets.

Everything I bake is made with love and created from scratch, inspired by the women who raised me and the memories that shaped me. I never planned to start a bakery. I was simply trying to make the perfect cake for my own wedding, but that moment opened the door to something so much bigger.

Baking became more than a hobby. It became my peace, my therapy, and the place where I could pour my creativity and healing into something beautiful. Now, I get to create desserts that feel warm, comforting, and just as special as the moments they are made for.
